Dr. Chea Chamroeun gave a speech to the Cambodian Red Cross Youth saying that this

anniversary is not only celebrated in Cambodia but all over the world and it aims to remember the women's bravery in the struggle for freedom, peace and social development. Social development includes receiving the right respect, freedom of participation in the development of the family, society and the nation.

Especially violence and trafficking of woman are a distress not only for women, their family or community, but also for society.

Dr. Chea Chamroeun reminded the students to do good things with morality, virtue and humanity and to try to follow the example of Dr. Bun Rany Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian Red Cross, in giving relieve to human beings from all kinds of pain and suffering.

On this occasion, the Cambodian Youth Red Cross Club of the University has announced to establish a funding box to collect money to help victims.
